MAXWELL DAVIES MEMORIAL PRIZE FOR COMPOSITION
My composition Plight for solo viola won this award at the 2017 Canterbury Festival.
Via a recommendation from Paul Clark of the Clod Ensemble, I was given the opportunity to attend rehearsals for Laura Bowler's Houses Slide, performed at the Southbank Centre in July 2021, and the Musicians of Tomorrow concert held at Cecil Sharp House in the same month.
I used the opportunity to make connections and obtain feedback on the works I had in progress at the time.
LSO Soundhub associate composer 2023–2024.
